About

We are a Product Design and Development company in New Jersey with extensive experience in design for manufacturing. Our expertise spans medical device development, industrial equipment, consumer products and packaging. We design parts and assemblies that can be manufactured cost effectively and on a fast track.

We also excel in developing, building, and testing functional prototypes. We have the ability to allow these prototypes to be anything from a simple Proof of Principle model to pre-production Beta Prototypes. These are produced with any of the latest high-tech prototyping technologies available to us—including 3D Printing, SLA / SLS, CNC Machining, and various Molding techniques—with the aim of delivering solutions that will stimulate production units.

Customer Testimonial

“Bob’s expertise, dedication to my project and attention to detail have far exceeded my expectations. This project, and certainly the final product, would not have been the same without his involvement. Highly recommended.”

Dave Amcher
Manager, Spacelab9

“RFL engaged Nova Product Design design to produce a series of conceptual 3D drawings for a new product proposal.
The designs were created with very quick turnaround, with equally quick updates incorporating ever-changing design ideas. Mr. Barry showed a great ability to understand our rough, non-specific requirements and produce exactly what the customer had in mind.”

Robert Walker, PE
Hardware Engineering Manager, RFL Electronics Inc. A subsidiary of Hubbell Power Systems, Inc.

“Bob Barry has become a valued strategic partner to Exothermic.  Bob’s capability as a designer, engineer, and SolidWorks expert facilitate his ability to contribute in many ways from creating elaborate part designs to designing complicated machined aluminum molds.  We owe much of our recent success in taking on complex new business to our partnership with Bob.

Paul Steck
President, Exothermic Molding, President, Exothermic Molding

“We had a great experience with NOVA Product Design. They took our concept from rapid prototyping and component sourcing through to production documentation and release. This required the design of a precision linkage and molded components. We will certainly use them for future design work.”
